NGC6791, an open cluster in Lyra, magnitude 9.5, diameter 16'. This setup used the f/6.3 focal reducer and the Homeyer color filter wheel, giving an effective focal ratio of f/4. This is an LRGB composite with a 29-minute luminance channel, and 15 minutes in red, and 13 minutes each in green and blue. Each channel was processed separately with dark frame removal, and flat frames, then compositing. The four channels were then color combined, and the image was processed with Digital Development (kernel, low-pass), color smoothed (FFT, low-pass, mild), and finally a contrast stretch. Images were taken between 9:56 and 11:29 p.m. the evening of the 2nd. Here is a monochrome version of the same image, created by adding all the frames together without color combining. This approximates a 40-minute exposure.

NGC7013, a galaxy in Cygnus, magnitude 11.3, dimensions 5'.2 x 1'.6, surface brightness is 12.3 mag/sq arcbin. This setup used the f/6.3 focal reducer and the Homeyer color filter wheel, giving an effective focal ratio of f/4. This is a composite with 84 minutes total integration time. This was processed with dark frame removal, and flat frames, then compositing, Digital Development (kernel, low-pass), and finally a contrast stretch. Images were taken between 11:57 and 4:19 a.m. the morning of the 3rd.
